How to Automatically turn ON and OFF your bulb

    How to Automatically Turn ON and OFF your light using photocell

                 It is essential to control your light automatically by turning ON the light during the night and turning OFF during the day time. If you have a street light to be controlled by yourself or a load which needs to be worked on night time but not in the day time, photocell sensor will be useful for you. Stop being trouble by entrusting others for controlling the load. Controlling light manually will waste your time and it will become a responsibility to you. Therefore, the photocell sensor is essential.

     What is Photocell sensor and how it is useful for us???

          Photocell sensor is an instrument which helps to turn ON and OFF a light or any other load during night and day time respectively. This will be useful to us for controlling street lights, garden lights, etc automatically. This helps to get rid of from manual operation on switches. It does its job every day in a fixed time.

How does it work???

      It works according to the natural light. ie, sunlight. After connecting the sensor bulb glows when darkness starts to come in the evening and pales when natural light comes in the morning. This helps to save energy by putting the load in OFF on day times and prevents problems caused when it is forgotten to be turned ON.

         Let us come to the topic....

         The first process is to purchase the product. The product is available mostly in online shopping websites or you can purchase it directly from retailers. There are many types of photocell sensors among them you can choose the best one. Below shows an image of photocell sensor which I personally recommend to use.
After purchasing the product, fix it at a secure place where natural light can come without any obstacles. Be assure to keep a little away from the artificial lights especially from the light you are connecting to.

How to connect; You can see 3 wires on the Photocell sensor  Connect the white wire to the Neutral, Black with the Line (phase) and red wire with the Load.  The wire colour may vary so, read users' manual carefully before installation.

Note;
- Keep away from artificial lights
- Be assure whether the product you have bought have the water proof function if you are keeping it at outdoor.

 I have been a user of two different types of sensors since a while and I recommend not to buy the sensor similar to the image given below.

        Because this sensor doesn't show water proof quality and I could experience light blinking during the snowy and rainy time.
The first sensor I have mentioned is absolutely awesome.

History; an art of impeccable deception.

Almost people love history. Because they are the stories of the past. But it's always annoying that how much current history is factual....
